Small Group Dominica Nature And Canvas Painting Experience
Discover Dominica in a creative new way on this relaxing shore excursion that combines scenic island sightseeing with a guided canvas painting experience. Take in breathtaking views, connect with the island's culture and natural beauty, and return home with your own hand-painted souvenir.
Your experience begins at the Roseau cruise port, the colorful capital of Dominica and the gateway to one of the Caribbean's most unspoiled volcanic islands. Enjoy a scenic drive through the city before passing the lush Dominica Botanic Gardens, one of the island's most famous green spaces, filled with tropical plants, towering trees, and rich local history.
Continue to Morne Bruce, one of Roseau's best panoramic viewpoints, where you'll capture spectacular views of the city, the Caribbean Sea, and Dominica's dramatic mountain landscape. After taking in the scenery, travel to the peaceful Morne Bruce Pastoral Centre for a guided painting session inspired by the island's natural beauty and cultural heritage.
With all art supplies provided, you'll create your own canvas while receiving step-by-step guidance from a local instructor. Choose from a variety of Dominican-inspired subjects, including colorful tropical birds, cascading waterfalls, lush rainforests, island landscapes, and cultural symbols. Whether you're painting for the first time or already enjoy creating art, this welcoming experience is designed for every skill level.
As you paint, relax with a refreshing drink, available with or without alcohol, while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Before returning to your ship, your finished artwork will be carefully packaged, giving you a meaningful keepsake that captures your visit to Dominica.
This small group Roseau shore excursion includes round-trip transportation from the cruise port, a local guide, sightseeing, admission fees, the guided painting experience, all art materials, and one beverage. Combining island sightseeing, cultural immersion, and hands-on creativity, this is an unforgettable way to experience the natural beauty and artistic spirit of Dominica.
Guests must be 5 years old or older to participate in this tour and 18 years or older to consume alcohol.
Minimal walking is required on this tour. Guests should expect short walking distances at Morne Bruce and within the Morne Bruce Pastoral Centre grounds. The tour is generally relaxed and suitable for most fitness levels.
Restrooms are located at the Pastoral Centre, free of charge.
Guests will receive a brief safety and orientation overview before the start of the tour and painting activity.
